• Where does "Ya souri goum de" comes from ?
  
  « Ya souri goum de » means « it comes from the heart » in the language spoken in Burkina Faso, and it totally make sense for us. « Us » is 6 friends, young adults, just graduated from our studies and ready to jump in real life. We first met in our engineering school in France, the ENSGSI. Today we are all spread around the country, building our own daily life. But we wanted more, we all felt that we could do much more than only building our own life. How do we help others ? What do we bring to the world ?
  
  Nothing happens by chance, it all comes for a reason. So when we heard about this project it totally made sense. So we created this association « ya souri goum de ». And now you’re wondering what we are talking about exactly !
   

• What are we talking exactly ?​
  
  Gampougdo is a village of 200 people in Burkina Faso, Africa. Today, its villagers live in precarious conditions : without electricity or running water. They can only survive on their agriculture which all depends on the rainy season : during only 4 months, from June to September, is when they can cultivate the soil to produce food. The other 8 months are the dry season - without any drop of water. Villagers don’t have anything to do then. Some other villages in other regions have a garden and a sink, Gampougdo doesn’t.
  
  And here we are: our project consist in raising money to build a 2500 square meters garden and a sink with solar power. Once built, the garden could be useable and give a piece of land to each family of the village. They could cultivate their own vegetables for their own consumption and even produce extra to sell in the market to make money to buy cattle, clothes for their children, equipment for their house or books to go to school…
  
  In total, we need 5 000€ to complete the whole project. We have been doing many things to reach this amount like markets, sales, events and search for partners and sponsors. But we also need you ! We are looking for 3 000€ thanks to the crowdfunding. Because we believe that if everybody can help us, even with a small amount, together we could move mountains! So what do you think ?
